About OV Holidays
OV Holidays Pvt Ltd is a Maldives-registered travel advisory company and a subsidiary of Viluxur Group. We act as a travel advisory and booking intermediary — arranging accommodation, transfers, and related services on behalf of our clients with third-party suppliers (resort properties, transfer operators, airlines).
The contract for accommodation and travel services is between you and the supplier. OV Holidays acts as your advisor and booking agent.
Booking and Payment
A voyage is confirmed upon receipt of the deposit as specified in your voyage proposal. The deposit amount is USD 1,000 per booking, or as otherwise stated in your proposal for specific properties or seasons.
The remaining balance is due as follows:
- Low / Shoulder Season (May–September): Balance due 45 days before arrival
- High / Peak Season (October–November, February–April): Balance due 60 days before arrival
- Festive Season (December–January): Balance due 120 days before arrival
Payment methods accepted are confirmed during the booking process. Prices are subject to availability and may be re-quoted if rates change before the deposit is received.
Cancellation and Amendment Policy
These are general default conditions applicable to most properties. Some resorts apply stricter policies — your Travel Advisor will confirm the applicable terms for your specific voyage before you commit.
Low / Shoulder Season (May–September)
- 45+ days before arrival: Amendment or cancellation fee of one night's stay or USD 300, whichever is higher, plus any bank or processing charges
- 0–44 days before arrival: 100% of total voyage cost — non-refundable
High / Peak Season (October–November, February–April)
- 60+ days before arrival: Amendment or cancellation fee of one night's stay or USD 300, whichever is higher, plus any bank or processing charges
- 0–59 days before arrival: 100% of total voyage cost — non-refundable
Festive Season (December–January)
- 120+ days before arrival: Amendment or cancellation fee of one night's stay or USD 300, whichever is higher, plus any bank or processing charges
- 0–119 days before arrival: 100% of total voyage cost — non-refundable
Amendment requests are handled directly by your Travel Advisor. Changes are subject to supplier availability. An amendment fee may apply depending on the nature of the change and how close it falls to your arrival date, as detailed in the cancellation schedule above.
Travel Insurance
OV Holidays strongly recommends that all clients hold comprehensive travel insurance prior to confirming any voyage. Insurance should cover: trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and personal liability. OV Holidays does not provide travel insurance.
We strongly recommend that clients obtain insurance with cancellation cover for all voyages.
OV Holidays Responsibilities
OV Holidays acts as an advisor and booking intermediary. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers (resorts, transfer operators, airlines) once services are booked. In the event of a supplier failure or disruption, we will act on your behalf to find suitable alternatives where possible.
Neither OV Holidays nor its suppliers can accept responsibility for loss or expense resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic, political instability, or government-imposed travel restrictions.
Governing Law
OV Holidays Pvt Ltd is registered in Singapore (ACRA). These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
