Working through OV costs no more than booking a Maldives resort directly — and in most cases includes inclusions that direct bookings do not. Our advisors have stayed at the properties they recommend. They know which villa faces sunrise, which resort’s children’s programme is substance rather than marketing, which transfer route avoids the 45-minute delay that ruins an arrival. They have verified this in person.

Fifteen years later, that conviction has not changed. He remains directly involved in which properties OV recommends, how advisors are selected, and how the model operates.

Dr. Nisha brings 28 years of expertise across sustainable tourism, corporate leadership, and academic instruction. At Viluxur Holidays, she leads the Conscious the Maldives initiative — connecting high-net-worth travellers with meaningful, eco-conscious Maldives experiences. She is also Founder of Elevated Consultancy & Training, Director of World Women Tourism, and co-owner of zAnta Spa & Wellness in Bhutan. A keynote speaker at UNWTO, the Asian Development Bank, and PATA, and winner of Most Inspiring Woman in Travel (Asia).

Ellice has been part of OV since the beginning — when the company was still finding its shape and the Maldives was still being mapped resort by resort. You reach us via WhatsApp, email, or phone — whichever is easiest. A Maldives specialist picks up. We'll ask about your dates, your group, what you've done before, and what you want this trip to feel like. This takes twenty minutes. Most clients come away with a shortlist of two or three properties before the call ends.
Within 24 hours, we put together a written recommendation — the right resort for your situation, with our reasoning. If the shortlist includes more than one option, we explain the trade-offs clearly. We don't push. If you have questions, the same advisor answers them.
Once you've decided, we build a full trip proposal: dates, villa category, transfers, dining reservations, experiences. We draw on pre-confirmed inclusions — room preferences, dining arrangements, category-specific arrangements already in place with the resort — and present everything clearly before you confirm.
You confirm. We handle everything: the reservation, the transfer logistics, the pre-arrival arrangements with the resort. You'll receive a clear confirmation document with everything in one place.

OVTC is not a points system. There is nothing to collect, no tiers based on spend, no card to present. OVTC is the commercial and service relationship OV maintains with guests who have completed at least one trip — and who we therefore know how to serve better the second time.
OVTC members are routed to their previous advisor by default. During high-demand periods — peak season, Eid travel windows, school holiday periods — OVTC members have priority access to advisor time.
